People’s Republic… contains more shifts in tempo between the songs comparing to The Baboon Shows previous album. Although they didn’t tone down. I mean how can you do that when you’re singing about macheting someone? It’s more a question of dynamics, something that works perfectly okay. The Baboon Show, however, is at its best when they don’t hold back and when the cockiness is fully fulfilled in both text and melody. (GAFFA)
